How to Charge Ring Spotlight Cam Battery

First, check your Ring app to see if your battery needs recharging. When your battery needs to be charged, the ring app will notify you, too. While you should only need a single Ring battery to allow the Spotlight Cam to function, having two will allow it to run for longer without needing a recharge. Plus, when one battery runs out, your Spotlight Cam will still be able to run while that battery charges.

Open the compartment by pressing the button on the rear of the device. The cover will come off, and you'll be able to remove the battery easily. If you have two batteries here, check for a flashing red light near one of the battery packs. you'll know that that's the one that needs charging.
