Roomba is the easiest way to clean your home, and they have an option for just about anyone. But how do you decide which Roomba vacuum is right for you? Luckily, we've created this comparison video to help you decide. Follow along as we cover their 5 most popular models, and why you might prefer one over the others.
To begin, the Roomba 694 is the most affordable model. It's the only model that still uses bump navigation, which means it moves around your home until it bumps into a wall or the sofa and changes course; this navigation makes it take longer to finish cleaning. Of course, if you don't care about run time, the 694 is a great choice as it's significantly cheaper than the other models. One step up is the i3+ Evo, which retails for $550. This model comes with a base station that charges the vacuum and empties the bin for you. With the i3+ Evo, you can also set schedules and select which room you'd like your vacuum to clean with smart navigation, also known as VSLAM technology.
Next up is the J7+, which also has the self-emptying station. This robot vacuum is great for larger homes or homes with more rooms as you can set rooms that need deeper cleaning or no-go zones via the app. J7+ has the most advanced navigation, with the ability to sense messes like pet accidents and avoids them, rather than smearing them around your home. S9+ also features VSLAM navigation like the i3+, as well as the advanced functionalities the J7+ offers. The S9+ is the more expensive option as it has far more powerful suction compared to all other models; this offers the closest experience to a deep clean. S9+ is also a different shape to help it clean corners better.
Rounding out the collection is the Combo J7+. This model introduces a retractable mop for 2-in-1 cleaning, hence its name.
