Lighting your grill is now safer and easier than ever. Just follow these simple steps:

Push. Press the knob to allow gas to flow from the valve to the burner.

Turn. Rotate it until you hear a click. This engages the igniter.

Hold. Once the burner ignites keep holding the knob for 3 to 5 seconds. This allows the thermocouple to heat up, signaling the valve to keep the gas flowing.

Release. Let go of the knob once the burner is fully lit.

Now that the burner is lit, the grill is ready for use.

In the event that a burner goes out, the thermocouple will cool off and shut off gas flow to that burner.
