• Product Care Note: Just like a shiny new penny the copper finish on this kettle will naturally darken with time and use. It is best not to touch the copper surface directly with your fingers as oils will darken the copper quicker. Many people love the patina, but if you wish to restore a shinier finish try our simple homemade cleaning recipe: Dissolve 1 Tablespoon of salt in 1/4 cup of vinegar. Use a soft paper towel to apply the solution to a small area of the kettle and rinse quickly under running water. Continue until entire kettle is shiny. Pat dry with a soft paper towel. Commercial copper cleaners are too strong for this surface and will damage it so please use our homemade cleaning recipe instead.
