What Is A Soundbar, and Why Do I Need One?

The first number in the sequence refers to how many channels your soundbar has. If the first number is a two, your soundbar has two channels; one on the left side of the bar, and one on the right. For three, there is a left, right, and center channel. Numbers five and above will create a virtual surround sound effect, sending audio out at different angles.
The second number lets you know whether the LG soundbar comes with a separate, external subwoofer or not, adding extra oomph to your bass. This is indicated by a one for yes, or it isn't included at all if there is no subwoofer. Finally, the third number indicates whether there are any speakers that fire upward, or vertically, and is not always present. In sending audio at the ceiling, sound waves are then bounced back at the audience for an incredibly immersive experience.
