The MartinLogan DISCRETECINEMABAR75 Discrete Cinema Soundbar 75 is a Motion Discrete Cinema Series passive three-channel soundbar optimized for 75 in class televisions. Discrete left, center and right channels join a 13-driver sealed aluminum design with ten 4 in Woven Fiberglass drivers and three Gen2 Folded Motion Tweeters. Folded Motion Waveguides provide controlled 90 degrees x 90 degrees high-frequency dispersion, while 100-25,000 Hz response, 93 dB sensitivity and a recommended 20-210 watt amplifier range support detailed, dynamic home theater sound.

As a passive soundbar design, it requires compatible external amplification.¹ A high-performance subwoofer is recommended for full-spectrum low-frequency extension and is sold separately.²

The 75 in Match

Within the MartinLogan soundbar lineup, this 75 in class model expands the left and right sections and doubles the center-channel woofers compared with the smaller model. The added driver density is intended to keep the front soundstage broad and authoritative, so the audio presentation feels proportionate to a large screen instead of shrinking beneath it.

Discrete Left, Center and Right Channels

Three independently driven front channels share one enclosure, preserving true channel separation without placing three separate speaker cabinets around the television. The dedicated center section supports clear, screen-focused dialog, while the wider left and right arrays build out the cinematic front stage.

13-Driver Woven Fiberglass Array

Ten 4 in Woven Fiberglass Unibody Cone drivers use the same cone material as current full-size Motion Series speakers to support timbre matching. Their stiffness-to-mass balance helps the shallow enclosure deliver punch and midrange clarity for soundtracks, voices and effects.

Gen2 Folded Motion Tweeters and Waveguides

Three Gen2 Folded Motion Tweeters reproduce detailed high frequencies through Folded Motion Waveguides. The controlled 90 degrees x 90 degrees dispersion pattern spreads treble across the listening area while reducing the effects of unwanted room reflections.

The Strength of Slim Aluminum

The sealed extruded aluminum cabinet uses thin, rigid walls to preserve internal air volume within its shallow profile. That rigidity also resists cabinet flex, helping minimize enclosure vibration so the drivers can work from a cleaner, more stable structure.

Low-Profile Mount and Visual Symmetry

The included premium ultra-slim wall bracket supports micro-adjustment for accurate centering and a close-to-wall installation.³ Television-scale proportions, curved endcaps and concealed mounting hardware soften shadows and help the black enclosure blend into a custom theater layout.

Tool-Free Wiring and Flexible System Planning

A removable speaker-wire connector uses tension levers, allowing cable termination before the soundbar is lifted and hung. Its 4 Ohm design works with amplifiers rated for 4, 6 or 8 Ohms, giving installers flexibility when selecting compatible separate amplification.
