Nikon 2082 Z5IIC Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera (Body Only) in Silver
The Nikon Z5IIC 2082 is a silver, body-only full-frame mirrorless camera built around a screen-first, viewfinder-free design. Its 24.5MP BSI FX sensor and EXPEED 7 processor support detailed images, natural optical background blur and low-light color, while 5-axis in-body VR steadies handheld stills and video. The 3.2 in vari-angle touchscreen enables low, high, overhead and front-facing composition, deep-learning autofocus recognizes 10 subject types, and capture reaches approximately 14 fps mechanically or up to 30 fps electronically. Creators can also record 4K UHD up to 60p1 and internal 12-bit N-RAW.2
Key Features
Touchscreen-First, Viewfinder-Free Shooting
The vari-angle monitor lets you frame at hip level, above a crowd, close to the ground or toward yourself without bringing the camera to your eye. Its flat-top body and familiar touch operation help you stay visually connected to candid moments, while manual controls and interchangeable lenses provide room to grow within the Nikon digital camera system.
24.5MP Full-Frame Image Quality
The backside-illuminated FX sensor captures the information needed for dimensional depth, fine detail, flattering skin tones and softly separated backgrounds. EXPEED 7 processing helps control noise while preserving color and atmosphere in dim scenes, and the available resolution gives you flexibility to reframe a composition while retaining detail.
Subject Detection and Fleeting-Moment Capture
Deep-learning autofocus automatically recognizes 10 common subject types and can prioritize faces and eyes, including subjects that are small, moving or behind glasses. Pre-Release Capture buffers images around the shutter press to provide another chance at unpredictable action, while mechanical and electronic burst options support everything from candid expressions to sports and pets.3
Advanced Video in an Approachable Camera
Along with high-resolution recording, the Z5IIC provides Product Review Mode to move focus from the presenter to an item held near the lens, then return to the presenter when the item is removed. Full HD 120p, in-camera slow-motion options, stereo sound and UVC/UAC USB support expand its uses to vlogging, demonstrations, streaming and video calls.
Scene Modes and Personal In-Camera Looks
Fifteen Scene Modes automate exposure, focus, color, white balance and other settings for situations such as portraits, sports, close-ups, night landscapes and food. You can then shape color, tone and texture with 31 built-in Picture Controls, adjustable Film Grain and more than 140 downloadable Imaging Recipes through Nikon Imaging Cloud.4
SnapBridge and Nikon Imaging Cloud
SnapBridge supports automatic phone transfer and remote camera operation, making it easier to move from capture to sharing without removing the memory card.5 Nikon Imaging Cloud adds full-resolution cloud backup, downloadable creative looks and direct firmware delivery when the camera is connected to Wi-Fi.
5-Axis VR and Everyday Durability
Image-sensor-shift stabilization helps reduce blur in handheld photos and smooth footage while walking or working in low light. Magnesium-alloy construction keeps the body lightweight, and sealing at key points adds consideration for dust- and drip-resistant performance during travel and daily use.6
Nikon Z Mount Lens Flexibility
NIKKOR Z lenses let you adapt the body for portraits, sports, landscapes, food, travel and close-up work. Compatible F-mount NIKKOR lenses can also be attached with an optional mount adapter, subject to lens and adapter restrictions, giving existing lens collections another route into this full-frame system.
