The Onkyo Y40SCUC Muse Y-40 turns a complicated hi-fi stack into one elegant control and amplification center. The Y-40 is made to do more than simplify a system - it gives music confident, accurate speaker-driving power. Its full-digital Class D architecture is rated at 75 watts per channel FTC into 8 ohms with both channels driven, plus 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms at 1 kHz. That output brings energy and detail to a serious stereo setup, while DIRECT mode and adjustable bass, treble, balance and vocals let listeners choose between a more direct signal path and personalized sound shaping.

Music access is equally broad. Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, AirPlay 2 and Chromecast open popular streaming and casting ecosystems through Ethernet or dual-band Wi-Fi.¹ Bluetooth adds convenient playback from compatible devices, while USB-A welcomes stored music.
