ProMaster 69354 Circular Polarizer Filter 95mm Pure Light

Thanks to a special combination of hydrophobic coatings, finely polished Schott B270 optical glass, and top-of-the-line polarizing films Pure Light CPL filters have a high light transmission rating, very low light reflectivity, and are color neutral. This equates to a pure transfer of the image to your camera’s digital sensor or film while gaining the creative benefits of a circular polarizing filter. Not only do these filters offer excellent protection for your lens against sand, dirt, oil, water, and fingerprints; but they are also easy to clean. Plus, any camera’s auto focus system works perfectly with a Pure Light CPL.

Each Pure Light filter has a matte black coating applied to the very edge of its glass before being carefully set into its anodized aluminum frame. This reduces the possibility of internal reflections as light passes through.

All ProMaster Pure Light filters have the same size filter thread on the front and back. So, they are compatible with your lens cap, and they can be stacked with other, same-size filters. They also come in a terrific, eco-friendly snap case.

A CPL is one of the most highly used filters in both still photography and videography, and with good reason. The effects of a polarizing filter are difficult or sometimes impossible to imitate in post-production software. These effects can be used to create beautiful compositions.

A CPL can control reflections and/or reduce glare on non-metallic surfaces, improve color saturation and contrast, deepen/darken the blue color of skies, reduce the appearance of atmospheric haze when photographing distant objects and landscapes.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A polarizing filter reduces glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass, enhances color saturation, improves contrast, and can darken blue skies and reduce atmospheric haze in landscape photography. These effects are difficult to replicate in post-processing, making polarizers a valuable tool for creating vivid, high-quality images.
  • This filter uses high-quality Schott B270 optical glass combined with a multi-layer coating to provide a maximum light transmission rate of 87.1% and extremely low light reflectivity under 0.5%. It ensures color neutrality and a pure transfer of the image to your camera sensor or film, maintaining sharpness and clarity.
  • Yes, the filter features a hydrophobic, water-resistant, dust-resistant, oil-resistant, and fingerprint-resistant coating, making it highly durable and easy to clean. The anodized aluminum frame adds additional strength, while the matte black coating around the glass edge minimizes internal reflections.
  • Yes, the filter has the same thread size on both front and back (95mm), allowing it to be stacked with other same-sized filters. It also supports use with your lens cap, ensuring convenience without removing the filter.
  • The package includes one circular polarizing filter and comes in an eco-friendly snap case for protection. It is backed by a 1-year limited parts and labor warranty, providing peace of mind for your purchase.
