REL Acoustics Serie T/9x SE 10-Inch Powered Subwoofer in French Racing Blue (Each)

The REL Acoustics T/9X SE BLUE Serie T/x Special Edition powered subwoofer combines 300 watts RMS of Class A/B amplification with a front-firing 10 in FibreCarbon driver and a down-firing 10 in passive radiator, with specified in-room low-frequency extension of -6 dB at 27 Hz. Designed for stereo music and home theater, it provides high-level Neutrik Speakon, low-level RCA and dedicated LFE RCA inputs for system integration. French Racing Blue, radiused cabinet edges and chrome detailing bring motorsport-inspired style to a component built for listeners who value both sound and design.

Key Features

300 Watts RMS of Class A/B Amplification

An integrated MOSFET monoblock amplifier supplies the bass power, so this active subwoofer does not require a separate external amplifier. Its 300-watt rating is RMS, not a peak-power figure. Integrated heat sinks and 8 ms input filters complement an analog design intended for both music and theater listening.

FibreCarbon Driver and FibreAlloy Passive Radiator

The revised carbon-fibre center cap reduces moving weight by 10 grams as part of the special edition's emphasis on response and articulation. It sits within a long-throw FibreCarbon active cone on a steel chassis. Beneath the cabinet, a separate 10 in long-throw passive radiator uses a FibreAlloy cone and inverted alloy center cap, pairing front-firing active bass with a down-firing passive element.

Stereo Connections and Hands-On Tuning

Choose among a speaker-level Neutrik Speakon input, a low-level RCA input and a separate LFE RCA input to suit the connection available in your stereo or theater system. Rotary gain, crossover and LFE gain controls put adjustments at the rear panel, alongside a 0-180-degree phase switch for further integration. A Neutrik Speakon cable is included. Allow an additional 1.75 in of depth when using the high-level connector.

Optional Arrow Wireless Signal Delivery

For an installation that calls for wireless signal delivery, add the compatible Arrow system, sold separately and not included. It provides uncompressed, low-latency audio transmission without making the subwoofer a cable-free component: AC power is still required through the supplied mains lead.

Room Guidance and System Options

REL Acoustics recommends rooms of approximately 150-400 square feet. This configuration contains one subwoofer; a stereo pair requires a second unit of the same model, though the colors may differ. The design also supports 3D theater applications, but not vertical line-array stacking.
