Rotel’s C8 Class AB Custom Installation Amplifier delivering on our 60-Year heritage of Performance, Quality and Value. The C8 delivers 8-channels at 70 Watts per channel of premium, Class AB amplification, all channels driven into 4-ohm speaker loads bridgeable to 140 Watts per channel.
The oversized in-house manufactured toroidal transformer drives sixteen high current output devices fed by an array of bulk storage smoothing capacitors ensuring deep, agile and controlled bass energy while maintaining rhythm and timing of all genres of music.
The C8 includes 4 Analog inputs available to all Zones through internal matrix-switching and a Priority Zone PA Override option allowing critical announcements to be instantly available to all zones. The front panel display and user controls provide selection of the matrixed source input and independent volume, bass and treble settings ensuring the C8 can be tuned for listening preferences, speaker profiles and room characteristics. Setup is also available via the front panel for easy system configuration when mounted in remote locations ensuring ultimate installation flexibility.
Control system integration is available via the IP and RS232 interfaces and the 12-Volt trigger input offers simplified power control. Detachable Phoenix speaker terminals allow for prewire installations with secure-locking terminals reducing service calls.
The custom engineered 2U height chassis does not require top or bottom clearance spacing for ultra-efficient rack mounting. All rack mounting hardware is included.
