Vent-A-Hood JDH460/C2 SS brings sculptural Designer Series styling and serious ventilation to a large professional-style cooking installation. Its graceful concave silhouette and slim lip create a clean architectural profile, while the Stainless Steel finish gives this wall-mounted hood a refined, purpose-built presence. Four integrated LED lights illuminate the cooking area, and the broad open-canopy form is designed to collect cooking vapors where they begin.

At the center of the hood is patented Magic Lung technology, a fundamentally different approach to kitchen ventilation. Rather than depending on restrictive mesh or baffle filters, the system uses centrifugal filtration to manage grease, smoke, heat and odors from cooking vapors. Two B200 dual blower units provide 1200 CFM airflow, with an 1800 Equivalent CFM rating for comparison with conventional filtration systems.¹ This filterless approach combines high-capacity performance with the remarkably quiet operation that helps keep conversation and cooking at the center of the room.

Daily operation is designed to feel responsive and convenient. SensaSource heat sensing can call for more airflow as cooking temperatures rise, while dual-level light control supports everything from focused food preparation to softer everyday ambiance. Accessible, dishwasher-safe blower components help make routine care less demanding, and separating grease before it reaches the ductwork helps limit accumulation. A factory-installed VP563 transition supports the specified round-duct connection. Matching duct covers are sold separately.³ For additional placement flexibility, this Vent-A-Hood range hood is also suitable for covered outdoor applications when installed under the required electrical conditions.⁴
