Abt Air: Our Carriers of the Year 2025!
To some, Abt is best known for its bustling white delivery trucks loaded up with appliances, driven by expert installers and covered with the Abt logo. But have you heard of Abt Air? Our logistics experts fly some of our products all across the nation with help from three different teams, and we're spotlighting everyone who has a hand in Abt Air this year. We partner with Hangar A, United Cargo and Bungii to get our products from us to their final destination—you—and our Logistics Department found it fitting to recognize all three in our Carrier of the Year award ceremony. In the past, we've focused on those who deliver via ground, but this time, we're taking to the skies.
What Is Abt Air?
Abt Air is an industry-only expedited service for mid-size appliances, shipping nationally to 40 markets in 1-2 days. The program offers expedited shipping at ground cost. There aren't too many other businesses anchored by a single location in Chicagoland that can ship a product to San Francisco or Miami in just a day or two, but we've found a way to make it work thanks to Hangar A, United Cargo and Bungii. It works almost like a production line: when we get an order in for Abt Air, Hangar A (a Chicago company) helps us coordinate both flight and final-mile delivery. From there, United takes the wheel. Our TSA-Certified Abt Air drivers bring our outbound orders right to Abt's own dedicated door at United Cargo—ensuring that our products always leave on time during our daily drop-off window. When the plane lands, Bungii takes the lead. These delivery carriers pick up our orders directly from the airport and bring products to customers for a seamless delivery experience. It's service and speed at the level you'd expect from our company. That's Abt Air, and we're proud of it.

We were excited to welcome team members from Hangar A, United Cargo and Bungii all together at Abt last week to name all three groups as our Top Carriers of 2025. With all of these companies working together, our Air program had a damage rate of just 0.2%. And with the number of products we sent out in 2025, a number that small is impressive—but we're going to try and keep doing better every year. As our Logistics Manager, Gary Quinton, said, "2025 was our best year...yet. Let's do even better in 2026." We're thanking the following people from each company below, as they represent our Top Carriers of 2025.

More To Celebrate with our Logistics Team
With our Logistics team, there's a lot to celebrate in-house as well. Each year, we take the time to recognize the hard work that this team puts in, working hard to ensure that everything from refrigerators to dishwashers makes its way all across the country. Manager Gary Quinton happily handed out awards to both Javier Lopez and Diana Segura. Gary noted that "Javier shined as an employee during peak season through his teamwork, productivity and quality." Meanwhile, Diana Segura "distinguished herself by leading the TMS integration, raised the level of logistics reporting and improved the team's expertise of analysis and Excel with her generous teaching."
