GLENVIEW, Ill. – Abt Electronics, the country’s largest independently-owned, single-location retailer of electronics, appliances and home goods in the country, was honored in Newsweek’s inaugural “America’s Best Trending Online Shops 2021” list for its ongoing success and growth. Newsweek’s list awarded the honor to the retailer’s national ecommerce site in the Home Living category for its sale and distribution of home appliances.

Abt was evaluated against 10,000 online shops in 36 retail categories, all of which had at least 1,000,000 annual website visits in the US, growth in both traffic and revenue over the last 24 months, and more than 50% of sales coming from the US. In addition to growth, Newsweek also evaluated consumer experience for site users - assessing cross-platform usage, website design, price checking and customer service.
