GE Carbon Graphite Front Load Steam Washer & Gas Dryer Package - GELAUNDRYPACK19

GE GFW655SPVDS 5 Cu. Ft. Smart Front Load Steam Washer

Laundry probably isn't your favorite chore, but the GE GFW655SPVDS front load washer offers a suite of modern features that make it a little more bearable. Despite its large capacity, this washer features a shallow depth that can fit into smaller places like closets, making it ideal for a wider range of homes and installation options. Most importantly, this GE washer is great at cleaning, with the PowerSteam cycle that gets deeper into fabric fibers to loosen stains. If cleaning the most bacteria possible is important to you (say, for new parents), the Sanitize + Allergen cycle comes in handy, killing 99% of bacteria and allergens including dust mites. The More Water option is another helpful addition for bulky items like comforters or more soiled items, giving you greater control over the cleaning.

A Fresher Washing Machine

One of the few drawbacks of a front load washer is mold-causing moisture buildup; GE anticipated this problem and added OdorBlock™ to this machine, which eliminates excess moisture. Your washing machine will stay fresh longer, and you won't have to leave the door open all the time. The GE GFW655SPVDS also features Microban® antimicrobial technology in the gasket, dispenser and drain system to prevent odor-causing bacteria. Your machine will stay looking and smelling fresh, and your clothes won't come out smelling musty.

Smarter Design by GE

Smart washing machines come in handy, especially in busy households. Connect the GE GFW655SPVDS to Wi-Fi to remotely select a cycle, stop the machine or monitor the cleaning process from your phone, so you don't have to keep going to your laundry room to check the machine. If you're also investing in a coordinating GE dryer, Dryer Control™ lets you control your dryer from the washer's control panel so you don't have to try to reach them above. The GE GFW655SPVDS looks great, too, in a nearly-black matte metallic finish that really elevates your laundry room, especially if you get a matching GE dryer. You can order your new washer online or shop in-person at our Glenview store, or you can call our appliance experts at 800-860-3577 if you still have questions.
