CES 2017 - Alpine X-Series Speakers [ X-S65 / X-S65C / X-S69C ]

Abt' talks to Alpine about their X-Series speakers.

X-Series Speakers
- The new X-Series speakers use premium materials and a new design to recreate incredible imaging and complement the power and sound of the X-Series amplifiers. The four new models are the X-S65C 6.5-inch Component 2-Way Speakers, the X-S65 6.5-inch Coaxial 2-Way Speakers and the X-S69C 6x9-inch Component 2-Way Speakers. Key features include:

- New radial neodymium motor structure for increased efficiency in power delivery
- New nano fiber cone which is light and rigid to increase sound accuracy
- New carbon graphite tweeter for increased accuracy and extended high frequency range without the harshness of some hard dome tweeters
- Cast aluminum frame
- Alpine’s HAMR (High Amplitude Multi-Roll) surround technology, to ensure the speaker’s linear operation
