The Weber SmokeFire is an all-in-one wood pellet grill that can both smoke low and slow or sear at higher temperatures. In fact, this grill has a temperature range of 200-600 degrees Fahrenheit. The biggest benefit of this grill is the built-in Weber Connect smart grilling technology that gives you monitoring abilities and additional controls from the accompanying app. In this video, you can learn even more as you watch head grill master, Kevin Kolman, smoke a barbecue pork shoulder. You'll need to invest in a Weber wet smoke kit. This stainless steel pan will not only catch the fat drippings from your food but will also add humidity inside of your grill. First, add water to the kit and place it inside your grill. Then, fill the hopper up with your choice of wood pellets. The Weber SmokeFire hopper has a large capacity of 20 pounds of pellets. You will then begin preheating the grill at 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Season your pork shoulder generously. Using the app, activate the SmokeBoost feature, which will drop the temperature to achieve the perfect smoky flavor. Put the meat probe in your pork shoulder and plug the other side into the Weber Connect. Close the lid, SmokeBoost for an hour or two and then bring the temperature back to 275 degrees.
