In this helpful video, our technologist Carl walks viewers through the process of pairing a Samsung soundbar and its corresponding subwoofer. If your pair ever happens to get disconnected, this clip is for you. You'll notice if they get disconnected: the bass that a subwoofer produces is noticeable, and it's much more noticeable when that bass is absent. To solve the issue, go to the back of the subwoofer. You'll see a button; hold down the "ID SET" button for about five seconds. A red light will go on, and then go off. Then, the blue light beside it will start blinking. Next, it's time to grab the remote.
With the remote in your hand, press any button to make the display on the television awaken. The next step is to hold down the top button on the directional pad for five seconds. From here, you'll see "ID SET" appear on your soundbar. Finally, check the back of your subwoofer. The blue button should hold steady, meaning that you've got a subwoofer that is now connected to the soundbar. To learn more, read up with our article on how to buy a soundbar.
