Learn all about setting up the Queen-size Motion Air Adjustable base by Beautyrest. You'll need two people to install; begin unwrapping in the desired bedroom. Remove tape and binding, then lay box on the ground. After removing the plastic, then unfold so the bottom of the foundation faces upwards. Remove items fastened during shipping and set these off to the side, ensuring that all items are there. Next, install the head motor by locating the green head motor bracket. Remove pin and clip. Slide the head motor bracket's groove in over the frame's bolt (the green stickers should face the same side). Secure the bracket with the pin and clip. Remove pin and clip from the top motor bracket, set aside. Then, align the holes on the base of the head motor with the holes on the top of the head motor bracket, all while making sure the 3 stickers face the same way. Reattach pin and clip. Next step: Remove pin and clip at the head end of the frame; set aside. Align the head motor's white end holes with the holes in the frame. Secure with the pin and clip. Next, attach the head motor cable into the white, labeled head plug on the control box.
Installing the foot motor is similar: remove the pin and clip in the base of the foot motor bracket. Next, install the foot motor by locating the yellow head motor bracket. Then, slide the groove in the foot motor bracket over the bolt in the frame until it fits in place. Replace pin and clip. At the top of the foot motor bracket, remove the pin and clip and set aside. Next, align the holes on the white end of the foot motor bracket with the holes at the top. Slide the previously removed pin out and use the clip to secure the connection. Align the holes at the base of the foot motor with holes on frame. Slide the previously removed pin out and use the clip to secure the connection. When installed, all three stickers should face the same direction. Plug the blue foot motor cable port into the control box.
Connect the power cord together, then attach the legs. Legs are shipped fully assembled, but can be adjusted to meet custom height options. Minimum height is six inches. Screw the legs into each corner and opposite sides of the middle. Don't overtighten. With two people, flip the base over without dragging or resting the frame on its side. Insert mattress retainer bars, add batteries to the remote, and plug in the bed. Test before adding the mattress.
