Dyson's new Airstrait hair styling tool is here to boost your look, without the long-lasting damage associated with classic high-heat straighteners. In this video, we'll help you get started with the new Dyson Airstrait. First, unlock the mechanism with the sliding button. From here, you can see all of the different functions, modes and buttons. A self-clean function ensures that the device is ready for use, while another button allows you to select between modes. Choose between wet and dry modes, then choose temperatures beginning at 250 degrees Fahrenheit. With this tool, it's easy to straighten your hair even after it's wet. First, make sure you towel-dry it. Then, choose Wet mode and roughly dry the roots with high blustery airflow. Once your roots are dry, lower temp and airflow, then start straightening and drying. It's a good idea to section your hair as you straighten. When you place your Airstrait down on a surface, it will pause on its own. Once you have the style you love, set it with cold airflow. Finally, close and lock the arms of the Dyson styler when you're finished. When straightening from dry, you can choose your temperature, or get a style boost in seconds with Boost mode, then set it with Cool mode.
