Meet the Samsung Q80C TV, a QLED TV from Samsung. In this video, Abt's technologist Carl from our video team is here to show us how to both assemble and install the new TV. It's easy to start: begin with all the parts you'll need, like the included base plate stand, neck piece and bags of M4 x L14 screws. You'll need your own Phillips head screwdriver to complete the installation, too. Your first step will be to remove the cord cover, which can stick. It won't break, keep working to remove it. Next, you'll be lining the neck piece up with the base plate stand. The cutout on the bottom of the neck piece should line up with a protrusion on the base plate; slide them into each other. When lined up correctly, you'll be able to see right through to where you'll place the screws.
Next, it's time to install the screws. When these are properly installed, your TV stand will be sturdy and strong enough to hold up the beautiful TV screen. Next, line the top of the next piece up with the base of the back of the TV. You'll see the place to add the last four of your screws. Once the pedestal is complete and attached, it's time to lift it up and set it on the pedestal. You should do this with the help of one other person. Finally, plug in all your cables and hide them behind the cable cover. Finally, it's time to enjoy your new TV by Samsung.
