In this video we take a look at how to change the water filter in a Kitchen Aid refrigerator model KRFC302E.

In this video, Shirley from Abt walks you through how to replace the water filter in the KitchenAid KRFC704FBS French Door Refrigerator with an EveryDrop Ice and Water Filter Number 2. This replacement filter can be purchased as a single or double pack. First, you must locate the old filter. In this specific model, it's placed next to the temperature control drawer in the lower left corner. When you open the filter compartment door, you will notice the filter is in the lock position with an arrow pointing to the right. In order to unlock it, grab the gray lever, twist it to the left and pull. When you remove the filter, you may see some slight water leakage but this is completely normal. Before you discard the old filter, remove the gray twist cap by squeezing the small levers on the sides. Prepare your new filter by removing the orange cap from the nozzle. Place the old gray twist cap on the bottom of the new filter (the side opposite of the nozzle) until you hear it click into place. Make sure the side tabs on the twist cap line up with the side notches on the filter. Watch this video to continue learning the rest of the replacement process.
