These 6.5-inch, 4-ohm component speakers are made for factory speaker positions used by H-D motorcycles from model year 2014 to current. Supplied as a pair, they handle 250 watts RMS and 500 watts maximum power for motorcycle audio that plays with authority whether the ride brings clear skies or rain.

At the center of each speaker is a Carbon Matrix Composite cone developed around the demands of motorcycle audio. Its lightweight construction supports efficiency, while the composite's strength and high-temperature resistance help it stand up to demanding use. An OFC copper wire voice coil with Black Coat combines high conductivity and low resistance with extreme thermal performance. An OFC copper shorting ring also extends upper-frequency performance, contributing to the published 70 Hz-10 kHz +/- 3 dB frequency response.

A compact N35SH neodymium magnet motor works with a custom-tooled, die-cast aluminum basket to create a solid foundation for the driver. Vortex Flow Venting is integrated into the basket design to support ventilation around the assembly. With 94 dB sensitivity measured at 1 watt from 1 meter, the CM65.4X is designed to turn amplifier power into efficient mid-bass output, while its extended upper-frequency reach delivers more than low-end impact alone.
