• MUXI's sophisticated direct drive motor is your confident copilot, packed with features like TCS (Traction Control System), Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist*, Kinetic Energy Recovery and Adaptive Power. Safety

• Traction Control System
  Better grip than bigfoot. Enjoy steady acceleration, predictable handling, and more confidence on every ride. TCS monitors wheel speed variance and steps in when it detects the wheel slipping by adjusting motor power or briefly braking the slipping wheel to prevent skids and allow the rider to feel confident.
• Hill Descent Control
  Slow your roll. Hill descent control automatically regulates speed by using the motor’s braking power, limiting manual braking needs and reducing risk of brake rotors overheating. Keeps the descent smooth, steady, and safe.
• Hill Start Assist
  Confident stops and starts. Ideal for stoplights on hilly streets or quick breaks during climbs, Hill Start Assist* automatically engages when you stop pedaling or applying power, keeping your eBike from rolling backward and holding it in place until you’re ready to move again. Hill Start Assist provides confidence for starting up hills. *Hill Start Assist is expected to be available on May 10, 2026 through the user application. • Kinetic Energy Recovery
  A little give and take. Get more miles, reduce brake pad wear, and boost overall efficiency. Kinetic Energy Recovery captures energy normally lost during braking, using the motor as a generator to convert that kinetic energy into power stored back in the battery. The result is a more sustainable, longer-lasting ride every time you hit the road.
• Adaptive Power
  Like riding a bike without the hard part. Responsive stepless power is regulated by Algorithm 2.0 and adapts to rider input and conditions, providing power when you need it most.

• Headlight
  See and be seen better with automatic headlight that can be turned off or on in the App.
  
• Taillight
  The integrated taillight activates with braking for better visibility and is compatible with RearView Radar to flash if a potential collision is detected. Alert settings are customizable in the App.

  Dual-component location tracking lets you monitor your eBike's location remotely.

  20" × 3.0" multi-surface tires are ready to tackle a variety of urban and suburban surfaces, working hand-in-hand with TCS for enhanced stability.
• Designed to Carry What Moves You
  MUXI is built to carry what matters with a generous total payload capacity of 418 lbs. Front Basket carries up to 33 lbs for daily essentials and the rear rack is engineered for heavier hauling up to 121 lbs, including another rider with the optional Passenger Kit. With so many ways to configure, it’s easy to make it your own.
  *The rear rack supports a maximum payload of 120 lbs, with the load centered and no overhang. It is for carrying goods only, not passengers. Exceeding the limit may affect stability, braking, or cause injury or damage.
  *It is recommended that you install the passenger kit and fenders on the rear wheel before carrying a passenger.

It is not intended to replace attentive riding/driving. Please always use your best judgment, visual checks and safe riding/driving practices. The feature may not detect all hazardous objects. The feature does not actively control the product but only provides warnings to remind the rider of potential risks. The rider remains fully responsible for the safe operation of products at all times.
  • Per our controlled test, paved road, normal outside daylight, the product is at the speed of 3.1-28 mph, our feature’s accuracy is 97%. Speed, lights, hazardous objects, environment and other factors may reduce accuracy.

• 2. Direct-Drive Motor Features
  • For proper and safe use of such features, please read instructions and warnings in user manual and/or App.
• 3. Traction Control System
  • TCS is an assistive feature intended to help improve riding stability under certain conditions. It does not guarantee traction, stability, or safety. Riders must always exercise proper judgment, ride with caution, and remain responsible for safe operation of the eBike.
  • TCS is turned on by default. You can deactivate and activate it through the Segway Mobility App.
• 4. Hill Descent Control
  • Descent Control is an automatic speed-control function that activates when your bike detects a downhill gradient. Once engaged, the motor applies a reverse resistance to gradually reduce acceleration and maintain a steady speed on the descent. There is no on-screen or sound notification when this feature is active.
  • Activation: This feature is disabled by default and must be manually enabled in the App. Once enabled, it will activate automatically on any detected downhill gradient without additional prompting.
  • WARNING: When active, riders will experience a motor braking effect that engages without warning. Riders who have enabled this feature should anticipate automatic resistance during descents and should maintain a secure and stable riding posture at all times. As with any automatic intervention, there is a possibility that the braking effect may feel abrupt under certain conditions. Riders should always exercise caution and stay alert to the riding conditions, particularly at higher speeds or on steep descents. Deceleration performance may vary depending on the degree of slopes, road conditions, age of product and battery levels.
• 5. Hill Start Assist
  • The Hill Start Assist feature is part of Segway Lab's experimental projects and may be updated or upgraded. Please stay informed through official notifications or announcements to avoid any inconvenience.
  • Hill Start Assist is expected to be available on May 10, 2026 through the user application. For updated information, please check the App notice.
  • Hill Start Assist is a motor-assisted hold function that keeps your bike stationary during brief mid-ride stops on inclines. It is intended for short pauses on a slope before restarting. It is not intended for parking or extended standstill.
  • Activation: This feature is disabled by default and must be manually enabled in the App. With the bike fully stationary, squeeze both brakes simultaneously and hold for 3 seconds. The motor engages to maintain position. An "H" symbol will appear on the display confirming the feature is active. During the final 15 seconds, a countdown will appear on the display and an audible alert will sound to indicate the feature is ending.
  • WARNING: This feature has been validated to hold position for up to 2 minutes and 17 seconds under the following conditions: slope of 8° or less, rider weight of 75 kg or under. Outside these parameters, hold duration will be reduced and the bike may be unable to maintain a stationary position. Riders should remain attentive and prepared to take manual control at all times, particularly on steeper slopes or with heavier loads.

  • Network and cloud-based services are free the first year and require a subscription thereafter on the Segway Mobility app.

  • The latest version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS is recommended to use Apple Find My App to locate the ebike. The Find Items app on Apple Watch requires the latest version of watchOS.
