The Zephyr DAPM90AMWX Apex Wall Designer Collection 36-inch range hood body combines matte white glass with the Perimeter Aspiration System, capacitive touch controls and tri-level LED lighting. Compatible internal, in-line and external blowers are sold separately in 290, 390, 600 and 1,000 CFM options, allowing ventilation performance to match the installation. Vertical or horizontal ducting supports flexible planning, while the optional recirculating kit provides an alternative when outside ducting is not possible. Three speed levels and auto delay-off simplify everyday control, while dual aluminum mesh filters help manage airborne cooking contaminants.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. The blower is sold separately, allowing a choice of compatible internal, in-line, or external configurations. Options include 290, 390, and 600 CFM internal blowers, plus 1,000 CFM in-line and external blowers. Check local codes, as many limit airflow to 400 CFM when no make-up air kit is used.
  • Yes. A recirculating installation is available with the optional ZRC-00AP recirculating kit when outside ducting is not possible. Zephyr recommends ducting a range hood to the outside when possible.
  • Perimeter aspiration moves airflow away from the center and distributes it through narrow openings around the hood's perimeter. This increases air velocity and improves the capture of cooking contaminants.
  • It supports vertical or horizontal ducting. The installation instructions specify 6 in round ducting for a single internal blower and 10 in to 8 in round ducting for in-line or external blowers. Install it 22 in to 34 in above the cooking surface.
  • The cooking area is illuminated by two LED lights with three lighting levels. Capacitive touch controls provide three speed levels and an automatic delay-off function.
