Attention Tech Lovers: CES 2025 is Coming!
CES, or the Consumer Electronics Show, has become one of the largest international technology summits and trade shows, hosted annually by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). CES gives some of the most innovative brands in the industry a platform to share their newest inventions and their most exciting upcoming releases. It also allows some of the smartest minds behind your favorite products to connect, meet and learn about the greatest tech advancements on the horizon. CES 2025 will be held in Las Vegas from January 7th to January 10th. This year, the convention is anticipating over 4000 different brand exhibitors. CES 2025: What To Expect
If this is your first time hearing of CES, you may be wondering exactly what the show is all about. Each year, there are several press conferences and keynote events that take place. These events allow the biggest names in the industry to discuss a variety of pressing tech topics. One of the most highly anticipated keynote speakers this year will be kicking off CES 2025 on the night of January 6th: Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA. The brand has been around since 1993, but NVIDIA caught everyone's eye in 2024 as it became one of four companies in the world to reach a market value of over $2 trillion.
NVIDIA is responsible for manufacturing the "world's first official GPU". A GPU is an electronic circuit that's designed to speed up image and computer graphics processing. Today, the brand stands out above the rest as its GPUs can handle the advanced processing necessary for AI technology, which has seen a meteoric rise in the past few years. AI will be heavily discussed at CES 2025, along with other subjects like 3D printing, virtual reality, drones, gaming, cybersecurity, streaming, sustainability and more. To give you an idea of the kind of tech advancements CES brings to the table, last year's convention featured futuristic products like smart home robots, transparent televisions and AI-powered kitchen appliances.
There are also a few Abt-carried brands that have representatives speaking at the convention, including Microsoft, Panasonic and Sony. Outside of these speakers, thousands of brands will have exhibits for attendees to browse. Exploring these booths is a fantastic way to make business connections and learn where technology is headed. CES 2025 representatives have been tight-lipped about what news may be coming our way. What we do know is that a handful of Abt brands may be making big product announcements, including LG, MSI, ASUS and Sony.
