Step 5: Add in your favorite fine coffee grounds (2.5 tbsp./14 g. per 6 oz. serving)
Step 6: Slowly pour a small amount of boiling water into the coffee grounds in a circular motion. Let it steep for 30 seconds to allow grounds to bloom*.
Step 7: Then continue to slowly pour boiling water in a circular motion until desired serving. Do not overflow. To ensure coffee does not overflow, view through the window of the Lotus Ceramic Filter!
Step 8: You have crafted pour-over coffee, enjoy!
*Blooming Coffee: Fresh ground coffee when in contact with hot water will swell as it absorbs water. During this process it will release acidic gases from the grounds and produce a smooth full bodied cup of coffee.
