The Kanto YU4G2VMB Yu4 (2nd Gen) powered bookshelf speaker system combines 110 W total RMS amplification, Bluetooth 5.3, 24-bit/96 kHz USB-C audio and a selectable phono preamp. Sold as a stereo pair with one active and one passive speaker, it brings records, streamed music and compatible TV audio into a two-channel setup without a separate amplifier. Silk-dome tweeters and abaca-paper woofers reproduce natural detail, while a subwoofer output automatically engages 80 Hz filtering when a subwoofer is connected. A Black laminate finish completes the second-generation design's recognizable appearance.

Each speaker pairs a 1 in silk-dome tweeter with a 4 in abaca-paper cone woofer, assigning high frequencies and mid/bass reproduction to dedicated drivers. The second-generation driver redesign focuses on detail and a more even tonal balance for records, streamed tracks and home entertainment, with a stated frequency response of 60 Hz-22 kHz.

More Power With 110 W Total RMS

Class-D amplification with DSP supplies 110 W RMS across the system, with a separate 160 W peak rating. The built-in amplifier powers both channels, so there is no need to match the pair to an external amplifier or receiver for stereo listening.
