The Kanto YU4G2VMU Yu4 (2nd Gen) powered bookshelf speaker pair combines 110 W RMS Class-D amplification with DSP, abaca-paper woofers, USB-C audio, Bluetooth 5.3 and a built-in phono preamplifier. Finished in Ice Blue laminate, the active and passive speakers create a self-amplified stereo setup for vinyl and digital listening. USB-C and optical inputs each accept 24-bit/96 kHz audio, while a subwoofer output automatically engages an 80 Hz crossover when a subwoofer is connected. From records to wireless playlists, the connection options bring everyday music sources into one system.

A 1 in silk-dome tweeter and 4 in abaca-paper-cone woofer in each speaker balance smooth upper frequencies with an articulate midrange and warm, natural bass. More Power With 110 W RMS

The amplifier provides musical headroom for everyday listening, with 160 W peak output complementing its continuous power rating. Amplification is built into the active speaker, so there is no need to add a separate amplifier. Connect the active and passive speakers using the supplied speaker wire to create your two-channel system.

From Vinyl to Digital

Connect a turntable directly through the RCA input's selectable phono stage rather than adding an external phono preamplifier. For other sources, choose 3.5 mm AUX or use the optical and USB-C audio connections for digital playback. An included RCA-to-3.5 mm cable supports an analog connection; USB-C and optical cables are not included.

Smarter Bass With an Automatic 80 Hz Crossover

Add a separate subwoofer when you want more bass extension. Connecting it to the subwoofer output triggers the automatic high/low-pass filter, directing low frequencies to the subwoofer and reducing the bookshelf speakers' bass workload. That redistribution supports cleaner, less strained operation. A subwoofer is not included.

Bluetooth Playback and Dedicated USB-C Charging

Listen wirelessly using SBC or AAC over Bluetooth, giving you a direct music-playback option alongside the wired inputs. A separate USB-C charging output supplies 5 V, 1.5 A power for charging; it is distinct from the USB-C audio input. The included infrared remote lets you operate the system without reaching for the speaker.

Ice Blue Finish and Flexible Stereo Setup

The durable Ice Blue laminate exterior gives both cabinets a coordinated finish. Swappable left/right channel assignment lets you choose which side holds the active speaker, while a bottom 1/4 in-20 threaded mounting hole supports secure mounting. Speaker stands are not included.

The stereo pair comes with a power cord, 15 ft speaker wire, a 6 ft RCA-to-3.5 mm cable and eight silicone rubber feet. A user manual and quick start guide are also supplied, helping you plan setup with a clear view of the included essentials.
