The Kanto YU6G2WMW Yu6 (2nd Gen) powered bookshelf speakers deliver 130 W RMS through built-in Class-D amplification with DSP, with USB-C audio, Bluetooth 5.3 and a phono preamp for records. The active/passive stereo pair needs no separate amplifier and offers RCA with a selectable phono switch, optical and 3.5 mm AUX connections for wired sources. Add a subwoofer to engage the automatic 80 Hz crossover, or enjoy the speakers on their own for computer audio and larger-room listening. Hand-built cabinets finished in Walnut laminate complete the system.

Fuller Sound With Abaca-Cone Woofers

Silk-dome tweeters bring out detail while abaca-cone woofers supply the deeper-bass character of this generation. Whether records or computer audio are your main source, playback uses 1 in tweeters and 5.25 in abaca-reinforced paper woofers, with a specified frequency response of 55 Hz-22 kHz.

Greater Headroom With 130 W RMS

For listening beyond the computer, the greater-headroom design supports dynamic playback in larger rooms. The built-in Class-D amplifier uses DSP technology and is rated at 200 W peak, complementing its 130 W RMS output.

From Vinyl to Digital

Move between records and digital sources without changing speaker systems. The RCA input's selectable phono switch and internal preamp serve turntable listening, while USB-C and optical TOSLINK are both specified for 24 bit/96 kHz audio. A 3.5 mm AUX input adds another analog connection, and Bluetooth 5.3 supports SBC and AAC for playback from compatible wireless devices.

Smarter Bass With an Automatic 80 Hz Crossover

Expand your stereo setup through the subwoofer output when you want to add a subwoofer. Connecting one automatically activates the 80 Hz high/low-pass filter, making bass management part of the connection process. A subwoofer is not included.

Hand-Built Cabinets in Walnut Laminate

The Walnut exterior is a laminate finish on hand-built cabinets. Swappable left/right channels let you choose which side holds the active speaker, while a 1/4 in-20 threaded bottom mounting hole accommodates compatible mounting hardware. Speaker stands are sold separately.

Stereo Pair With Setup Accessories

Use the included 15 ft speaker wire to link the active speaker to its passive companion, and the supplied power cord to power the system. A 6 ft RCA-to-3.5 mm cable is provided for an analog source connection. Eight silicone rubber feet, a user manual and a quick start guide are also included.

Remote Operation and Separate USB-C Charging

An included infrared remote puts system operation at your listening position. For device power, the USB-C charging output supplies 5 V, 1.5 A; this is a separate function from the USB-C audio input.
