Kanto YU6G2VMW Yu6 (2nd Gen) Powered Bookshelf Speakers in White (Pair)
The Kanto YU6G2VMW Yu6 (2nd Gen) powered bookshelf speaker pair delivers two-channel stereo with 130 W RMS of built-in amplification, 5.25 in abaca paper-cone woofers and 1 in silk-dome tweeters. Finished in White, the system combines an integrated phono preamp with USB-C audio, optical, 3.5 mm AUX and Bluetooth 5.3 for records, computer audio, TV sound and wireless listening from a phone. An automatic 80 Hz crossover supports adding a separate subwoofer, while swappable left/right channels let the active speaker sit on either side of your setup.
Key Features
Fuller Sound with Abaca Woofers and Silk-Dome Tweeters
Silk-dome tweeters bring out high-frequency detail, while abaca paper-cone woofers provide the bass foundation for your music. The system's 55 Hz-22 kHz frequency response gives you a stated bass-extension range to consider when deciding whether to expand your stereo with a separate subwoofer.
Greater Headroom with 130 W RMS Total Power
Class-D amplification with DSP supplies 200 W peak power, with headroom for dynamic musical passages and listening in larger rooms. The amplifier is already built into the system, so you can build a two-channel listening setup without selecting and connecting a separate stereo amplifier.
From Vinyl to Digital
Use the selectable phono setting on the RCA input for a turntable, or bring computer audio into the system through USB-C. Both USB-C and optical accept digital audio up to 24 bit/96 kHz, with optical providing a wired connection for a compatible TV. A 3.5 mm AUX input accommodates analog sources, while Bluetooth supports SBC and AAC codecs for wireless music from your phone.
Smarter Bass with Automatic 80 Hz Filtering
Connecting a subwoofer engages high-pass filtering for the speakers and low-pass filtering for the subwoofer at 80 Hz. This divides bass duties between the stereo pair and the subwoofer instead of leaving the bookshelf woofers to reproduce the same low frequencies. The subwoofer output provides the connection for this expansion; a subwoofer is not included.
White Finish and Flexible Placement
A durable White laminate exterior covers the hand-built cabinets. Choose which side holds the active speaker using the swappable left/right channels, rather than arranging your sources around a fixed active-speaker position. A 1/4 in-20 threaded bottom mounting hole provides another option when planning placement. Stands are not included.
A Stereo Pair with Setup Accessories
The package contains one active speaker and one passive speaker. Link them with the included 15 ft speaker wire and connect the active speaker using the supplied power cord. A 6 ft RCA-to-3.5 mm cable, eight silicone rubber feet, an infrared remote, a user manual and a quick start guide are also included.
Remote Operation and Dedicated USB-C Charging
Keep the infrared remote at your listening position to operate the speakers without returning to the cabinet. A USB-C charging output supplies 5 V, 1.5 A for a connected device. This power connection is separate from the USB-C audio input used for computer listening.
