REL Acoustics HT/1003MKII WHITE Serie HT 10-Inch Powered Subwoofer in White (Each)
The REL Acoustics HT/1003MKII WHITE Serie HT powered home-theater subwoofer combines a 10 in CarbonGlas driver, built-in 300-watt RMS Class D amplification and a sealed, front-firing enclosure. In-room low-frequency extension reaches 24 Hz at -6 dB, with stereo low-level RCA and LFE connections for system integration. Intended for movie effects as well as music playback, this single subwoofer complements bookshelf or medium floorstanding speakers. Its White line-grained cabinet and glossy lacquered top coordinate with pale furnishings and light interiors.
Key Features
10 in CarbonGlas Driver
The long-throw driver combines a glass-fiber cone with a real, inverted carbon-fiber center cap to resist deformation during demanding excursions. Cone rigidity and suspension are developed together to handle forceful movie effects while retaining the delicacy needed for music playback.
300 Watts of Continuous Class D Power
Built-in NextGen5 Class D amplification delivers its 300-watt rating continuously, rather than as a momentary peak. Upgraded circuit boards, power supplies, regulators and capacitors support current delivery when a soundtrack asks the driver to work hard.
Operation requires 110-120-volt mains power, and a 6 ft AC power cord is included. Electronic Set Safe, DC fault and output-short protection are provided.
Sealed Cabinet With Four-Post Bracing
The closed-box design places the driver at the front and reinforces cabinet surfaces with a four-post internal brace. An opening in the brace and felt treatment accommodate airflow from the driver vent to reduce reflected disturbance. Cabinet reinforcement and internal airflow are engineered together, not treated as separate concerns.
Second-Generation Filters and Progressive Limiting
Driver, amplifier, power-supply and filtering revisions work together to increase theater output over the original generation while improving musical expression. Bass elevation supports extension, and revised secondary filtering preserves effects transients. Progressive limiting applies restraint gradually rather than acting as an abrupt barrier, helping preserve usable output during demanding passages.
White Finish for Light Interiors
White is a coordinated finish treatment, not simply a different cabinet color. Finer horizontal body grain contrasts with a glossy top finished in five coats of hand-rubbed lacquer. A white grille, light-gray feet and a soft-gold crown logo with a slight rose-gold tint complete a design intended for pale or pastel rooms.
RCA, LFE and Optional Wireless Connections
Choose two low-level RCA connections for stereo sources or one LFE RCA connection for an AV receiver's LFE feed. Matching RCA daisy-chain outputs support additional subwoofers, and a phase switch offers settings of 0 or 180 degrees for setup. An audio interconnect is not included.
Optional HT-Air MKII compatibility adds a wireless audio option; the accessory is sold separately. Wireless audio does not replace the subwoofer's mains power connection.
