Abt wouldn't be the same without its incredible employees, whether they're driving the trucks, walking the sales floor or making chocolate chip cookies on the weekends. That's why we showcase an Employee Spotlight once a month! While everyone at Abt deserves to be commended for their hard work, we take the chance to shine a light on individuals who could use a little recognition. Each month, we sit down with a different employee and chat about their life, their journey at Abt, their career, their family and more. The best part? We get to hear things you'd never expect. With beloved hobbies like baking, roadtripping, snowboarding or musicianship, you'd never know what some of these Abt employees love to do. But what's even better is their passion for their careers, whether they work installing car audio or selling top-rated appliances. With HR managers who used to be detectives and members of our Woodshop team who have been practicing their craft for decades, Abt is a diverse business, and we like it that way. You never know what led that Abt team member to their position today, but our Employee Spotlights help shed a little light on both their career paths and who they are as a person. You'll learn just how much expertise we look for and foster in our employees. Some of our Employee Spotlights have been here for over 30 years. They've moved with us from our previous location in Morton Grove to our current space in Glenview. No matter how long they've been here, Abt values our team, and we'd like to show it in any way we can—like with Employee Spotlight posts.
