Explore the World with the Garmin MARQ Adventurer Smartwatch
The sky’s the limit with the Garmin MARQ Adventurer smartwatch. If we’re being honest, this timepiece has exceeded our expectations. Designed for every expedition, each component is built around durability, from the lightweight Grade-5 titanium to the full-grain Italian leather strap. And we can’t forget to mention the leakproof buttons, making it 10 ATM water-resistant. Now, you can confidently journey to new places, whether they’re snowy mountains or relaxing beaches. Of course, no smart device is complete without a long-lasting battery. When in smartwatch mode, the Garmin MARQ Adventurer model lasts up to 18 days. Extend the watch’s life by switching to low power mode. This way, you don’t have to worry about being near an outlet during your week-long excursions.
Navigate New Places with Ease
The Garmin MARQ Adventurer smartwatch displays key metrics3 on its 1.4-inch borderless AMOLED screen. The data changes based on the chosen activity profile. For example, turn on Hike before trekking up mountains, monitoring your elevation and blood oxygen levels as you go. When visiting new places, use the preloaded TopoActive maps to keep track of where you are. Even if you don’t have the best navigation skills, the Garmin MARQ Adventurer smartwatch has you covered. SATIQ™ Technology and multi-band GPS help you find your way. Your path will be rerouted as often as you need, so you don’t feel limited to how far you can go.
Staying Connected While On-the-Go
Keeping your loved ones informed gives them peace of mind as you venture off the grid. But being in the wilderness means disconnecting from the world. At least, that’s how it is with other smartwatches. The Garmin MARQ Adventurer model takes a different approach. Featuring inReach® technology1, you can message friends and family without a traditional connection. Instead, all you need is an established satellite link. Additional questions? Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. With an active inReach plan, you can use LTE for voice calls and LiveTrack location sharing, or LTE or satellite for two-way messaging and interactive SOS messaging. Messaging requires initial setup of the Garmin Messenger app on a compatible smartphone. Coverage and feature-specific requirements apply; satellite connection and SOS functionality have important limitations compared with other inReach devices. Check Garmin.com/marqfeaturerequirements before relying on these services.
-
Over LTE, the Messenger Calls app lets you call another inReach-capable device or someone who has set up the Garmin Messenger app on a compatible smartphone. LTE-M provides a data connection, not a conventional phone number, so traditional voice calls and SMS messages are not supported. Two-way messaging uses Garmin's services and requires an active inReach plan and Garmin Messenger app setup.
-
Satellite coverage is limited to the continental U.S., parts of Canada and most of Europe. To connect, you must stop moving, follow the on-screen positioning instructions and have a clear view toward the satellite. Trees, terrain and buildings can block the signal, and establishing a connection can take 30 seconds or more of good signal strength. An active inReach plan is required. Check Garmin's coverage and feature requirements for your destination, and follow local laws governing satellite communication devices.
-
Construction includes Grade-5 titanium, a ceramic bezel inlay and a sapphire lens. Grade-5 titanium offers strength and corrosion resistance. Nano-molding Technology bonds metals and polymers at a molecular level to support a strong, lightweight and comfortable design.
-
No. LiveTrack location sharing uses LTE, not satellite. During an activity, an existing LiveTrack session can continue over LTE when the phone connection is lost, provided LTE coverage is available. You can designate friends and family to receive notifications and follow your progress. An active inReach plan is required.
